You acknowledge that you are receiving no goods, services, or compensation in exchange for this submission. Ruby Barns does not provide tax advice or assign monetary value to submitted content. If you choose to claim any tax benefit, you are solely responsible for determining eligibility and valuation.
2. Copyright License & Usage Rights You grant Ruby Barns a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty‑free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and create derivative works from the submitted video for any nonprofit purpose, including but not limited to:
• educational outreach
• research
• tool development
• AI or machine‑learning training
• public sharing with the beekeeping community
This includes the right to extract still images, frames, audio, or data from the video.
3. Ownership of Derivative Works You acknowledge and agree that Ruby Barns will own all rights, titles, and interests in any derivative works, datasets, models, algorithms, insights, or scientific information created from or based on your submission. You waive any claim to royalties, attribution, or compensation related to such derivative materials.
4. Representations & Warranties You represent and warrant that:
• you are the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted video, or you have full legal authority to grant this license;
• the video does not infringe any third‑party rights;
• any individuals who appear visually or audibly in the video have given informed consent for recording and public use;
• the video does not contain confidential, proprietary, or restricted information.
5. Release of Liability You release and hold harmless Ruby Barns, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from the use, publication, distribution, or modification of the submitted video or any derivative works.
6. No Retained Rights or Revocation By submitting the video, you acknowledge that you retain no rights to control, revoke, or restrict Ruby Barns’ use of the video or any materials derived from it.
7. California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA Compliance) If you reside in California or submit content recorded in California, you acknowledge the following:
• The video may contain personal information (e.g., images, audio, identifiable features).
• By submitting the video, you consent to Ruby Barns collecting, using, storing, and processing this personal information for nonprofit purposes, including AI training and public educational use.
• Ruby Barns does not sell personal information.
• You may request deletion of your personal information (not the video or derivative works) to the extent permitted by law.
• Once submitted, the video itself and any derivative works cannot be deleted, revoked, or withdrawn.
8. Acknowledgment of Full Agreement By clicking the Approval Box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the entire contents of this document, including all terms, licenses, consents, waivers, and representations stated above.
